That's Bush Flyin'!

When I worked in the high Arctic in to 70s and 80s without the Twin Otter there would have been many things that would not have been done. It is a work horse.

Hello all…the book, “That’s Bush Flying” was a great read but having worked in Northern Canada for many years I related my experiences with aircraft more to “The old pilot, Bold pilot” book. Experiences flying in the sunny south area, Catering to tourists is much different though than flying in Northern Canada at -40f other than maybe some weather conditions at times.
The twin Otter, single Otter turbo and the old Beaver aircrafts were king of the air.
Regardless it was still a good book well written that kept one wondering what was the next chapter going to be like.

I’m sure you enjoyed flying in the warmer areas but I was expecting more in the north

Enjoyed the first book, really enjoyed the 2nd book. Easy read, comedic at times, and entertaining throughout the book. If you love Aviation, read this book!😉

The books were a gift for my husband. He spent 2 whole days reading straight through them so pretty sure he liked them 🤷‍♀️😂!
