About the Author:

I have lived and worked in several different countries including many parts of Canada, New York , Rhode Island, St. Croix USVI, The Maldives. Croatia, Saudi Arabia. I flew the Twin Otter Seaplane in all of those places. Many of my co-workers suggested that I write a book but I blew them all off.

In April of 2020, I was laid off from my job in the Maldives. I had just purchased a small hotel in Thailand so I moved there but COVID affected tourism there as well. I was sitting every day on my computer wondering what I should do to fill up all of the extra time I had in my hands.
I remembered all of the people who suggested I write a book and thought - why not try? I had nothing else going on.

No old bold pilots

As a 32 year fighter pilot, I was bold and lived to get old. I flew medivac in Manitoba after retirement from the USN. I am proud of my more than 34,000 logged flying hours. Bravo Zulu on your book.

Very appropriate. I learned in PILOT training there are no old bold pilots.

Well written and documented. Kept me riveted in my seat. As a pilot in Atlantic Canada with a multi engine rating I could understand the situations Blaine encountered. I anxiously awaited and very keen to read the next chapter. And yes Blaine is truly an OLD PILOT BOLD PILOT.
